Lonesome Whippoorwills Perform at Mather

Lonesome Whippoorwills performed at Mather Home in Evanston this past Sunday. Thanks once again to Mike and Carrie at Mather for organizing a wonderful volunteer music event and opportunity for our group. The residents were delightful. We really had a great time playing and performing for the great people of Mather. Also, thanks again for cookies and lemonade! We look forward to coming back to play at Mather on Sunday, September 16th at 2:30pm.

Lonesome Whippoorwills Perform at Edgewater

Lonesome Whippoorwills had a wonderful time playing for the staff and visitors of Edgewater Historical Society this past Thursday. While skies were a bit grey at the beginning of the performance, rain held off and the Whipps were able to play their scheduled two set performance. Special thanks to Dorothy Nygren at Edgewater Historical Society for giving our group this great opportunity to play. I speak for the group when I say we very much enjoyed this experience. From the pictures below, you can see that the garden setting was lovely. Also, thanks to those in the audience who listened to us play.    We hope to play again one day at the Edgewater Historical Society Garden.
