Whipps Return to Hidden Cove

Hi everyone,
The Lonesome Whippoorwills are proud to announce that we will be returning to Hidden Cove next Saturday, May 14th. We love playing at Hidden Cove and it's been too long since we last played there. Opening for the Whipps will be Lambardy Black. Here is the lineup:

7:00 to 7:50pm: Lambardy Black
8:00 to 10:00pm: Lonesome Whipoorwills

The Hidden Cove is located at 5338 North Lincoln Avenue in Chicago.

Also, later this month, the Whipps will be playing at the Humble Pub in Highwood on Friday, May 27th.

We are keeping busy these days with gigs and looking forward to seeing you out sometime soon. Thanks again to everyone for your support and love. Go cubs!

Whipps Return To Rock House in Wilmette

Hi everyone,
We will be playing this upcoming Saturday night, April 9th, at the Rock House in Wilmette. We are excited to come back and play at this great spot once again. Show starts at 8:30pm. The Rock House is located at 1150 Central Street in Wilmette. Hope to see you out on Saturday! Happy spring, go cubs!

Whipps To Play Indy Tap And Charleston In January

The Lonesome Whippoorwills will be playing at Independence Tap on Saturday, January 16th at 9:15pm. Toasted Alllmans (featuring Lonesome Whippoorwills guitarist Jack Garon) will be opening at 8:00pm.

The Independence Tap is located on 3932 West Irving Park Road in Chicago.

We are very much looking forward to playing at Indy Tap, and we thank Marianne for giving us this great opportunity!

The Whipps have also booked a gig at the Charleston bar in Bucktown for Thursday, January 21st. The Charleston is located at 2076 North Hoyne in Chicago.

So come on out to the Indy Tap on Jan 16th to hear some Allman Brothers music followed by the Lonesome Whippoorwills. And then we also hope to see you out on Thursday, January 21st at the Charleston around 7:30pm.

Lonesome Whippoorwills To Play Rock House In Wilmette

Hi everyone,
The Lonesome Whippoorwills will be playing at Rock House in Wilmette on Saturday Dec 5th. We are excited to play at Rock House - this is our first gig there!

We will be playing from 8:30pm to 10:30pm. Rock House is located at 1150 Central Avenue in Wilmette.

We hope to see you all out at Rock House on December 5th at 8:30pm. Happy Thanksgiving!

Lonesome Whippoorwills and Blue Adaptors at Hidden Cove on 9/19/15

The Whipps will be returning to the Hidden Cove Bar in Chicago on Saturday, September 19th to open for The Blue Adaptors. We are excited to get back to the Cove and play again with the Blue Adaptors on the same bill - those guys are great! Here is the music lineup for the evening:

Lonesome Whippoorwills: 7:00pm to 8:15pm
Blue Adaptors: 8:30pm to 10:00pm

Whipps To Play at Edgewater Historical Society on Thursday, July 16th

Hi everyone,
We are pleased to announce that the Whipps will be playing at the Edgewater Historical Society on Thursday, July 16th as part of their Summer Nights concert series. This will mark the fourth year we have played at EHS, and we are excited and honored to be part of the Summer Nights series this month! We will be playing from 6:00 to 8:00pm in the garden behind the Edgewater Historical Society located at 5358 North Ashland Avenue in Chicago. It's really a beautiful setting. We hope to see you at Edgewater Historical Society on Thursday, July 16th from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Afterwards, please join us at one of my favorite spots in the city (Edgewater Lounge) for some food and drink!

Also, just a quick update on our blog. We now have a youtube channel showing clips of performances over the last few months. I just put this together so there is not much on there now, but you will see a few clips. The link is located on the blog to the right near the top.

Whipps at Hidden Cove On June 27th

The Whipps will be playing at Hidden Cove Bar in Lincoln Square on Saturday, June 27th. Hidden Cove is located at 5338 North Lincoln Ave in Chicago.

Special guest, Andrew Young, will open at 7:00pm, and then the Whipps will play from 8 until 10:00pm.

We are looking forward to playing once again at the Hidden Cove. Hope to see you out on Saturday, June 27th!
